The Controller of Examinations runs every examination the university holds — entrance, semester, practical, supplementary and final. The office publishes the schedule, issues admit cards, appoints invigilators and examiners, holds the question papers and answer scripts under seal, oversees evaluation, and publishes the result.
It also holds the university's academic record after the result: grade sheets, transcripts, provisional and final certificates, migration certificates, and verification of a graduate's documents when an employer or another institution asks for it.
A candidate who believes a result is wrong may apply for re-totalling within the period stated in the result notice. Examination misconduct is dealt with under the university's examination regulations, and the decision is recorded.
