Glance

Students' own work — projects, field reports, posters, photographs and writing.

Four years of work, and almost none of it usually leaves the department.

Students at an agricultural university produce a great deal that is worth seeing: internship and field reports, project work, crop and pest posters made for a class, photographs from the farms, survey findings, and the writing that comes out of all of it. Almost none of it is normally read outside the department that set it.

Glance is where that work is put up. It is selected by the departments with the student's consent, published under the student's own name, and kept as it was submitted — a record of what the university's students actually did, useful to the year below them and to anyone judging the teaching by its output.
