Something that stays on the wall after everyone has gone home.
A poster does one job: it holds a single instruction where people will keep passing it. The university's posters carry crop calendars, pesticide safety rules, seed rates, symptoms of the diseases that matter in this province, and the dates a season turns on — set out so they can be read from a few steps away.
They are printed for field days, fairs and training courses and left with agro-vets, cooperatives, agriculture knowledge centres and schools. The files are published so that anyone — a ward office, a cooperative, a teacher — can print their own without asking for a copy.
Crop calendars
Sowing, weeding, irrigation and harvest dates for the season and the crop.
Safety and precaution
Pesticide handling, waiting periods, storage and disposal, in pictures.
Symptoms and remedies
What a pest or disease looks like in the field, and what to do first.
Poster files
Posters are published on the notice board as print-ready files, so a cooperative or a ward office can print them locally rather than wait for a copy to arrive.
