Organogram
How the university is organised, from the Chancellor down to the sections that do the daily work.
One page that shows the whole structure.
Section 6 of the Madhesh Agricultural University Act, 2079 lists what the university is made of — the University Assembly, the Executive Council, the Academic Council, the faculties, the Vidya Parishad, the colleges, the research and farm centres — and says that these together are the university. Section 7 names its officers: the Chancellor, Pro-Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Deans, Assistant Deans, Directors, Principals and any others prescribed.
Rule 3 of the University Regulations then puts the two together and lists, in one place, the twenty-six organs the university consists of — from the Assembly and the councils down to the three administration divisions. That list is reproduced below exactly as the rule has it, and it is where the wording on every box of the chart comes from.
The chart below follows the university's own organogram. Each box is an office or a body, not a person: the post stands whoever holds it. Where a level has more than one box, they sit side by side because they are of the same standing, not because one answers to the other.
Below the Vice-Chancellor the structure divides in two: an academic side running through the Deans to the colleges and the research and curriculum centres, and an administrative side running through the Registrar to the divisions, sections and student services. Both are drawn below, each under its own heading.

University structure
Academic side — under the Vice-Chancellor
The councils, the Deans, the colleges and the research and curriculum centres.
Administrative side — under the Registrar
The board, the three divisions, the two committees, and the sections and services beneath them.
Redrawn from the university's own organogram, with the box labels taken from rule 3 of the University Regulations, which lists the organs of the university in full. Boxes in gold are councils and committees: they decide, they do not line-manage. Post titles on the top four boxes are from sections 17 to 20 of the Madhesh Agricultural University Act, 2079. The dashed empty boxes are real boxes on the university's chart: rule 3 names the organs but not the line each reports to, so these await a legible copy of the chart itself — the structure is right, the wording is still to come.
