Faculties
The Faculty of Agriculture, teaching now — and the four faculties the university is mandated to build beside it.
One faculty running, four to come.
Madhesh Agricultural University teaches through the Faculty of Agriculture, whose departments carry the B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.) programme and the university's research divisions. Veterinary science, fishery, food technology and forestry are within the university's mandate and are being established as staff, laboratories and farm capacity allow.
The order is deliberate. A faculty is a set of departments, laboratories and field facilities before it is a name on a page, and the university has taken the position that a programme should open when it can be taught properly rather than when it can be announced.
