Directorates
The four executive arms of the university — academic affairs, research, extension and student welfare.
Where the university's work is planned and carried out.
Madhesh Agricultural University organises its functions into four directorates. Each is headed by a Director who reports to the Vice-Chancellor, holds an annual programme and budget, and runs the offices, centres and farms that sit beneath it.
The split follows the university's three-part mandate under the Madhesh Agricultural University Act 2079 — teaching, research and extension — with student welfare separated out so that the people the university exists for have an office of their own.
